Irrigation System Seasonal Turn On

This service will be provided at the beginning of spring. Timing will vary slightly based on watering needs (due to weather), but it will be done no later than May 15 every year. The package includes:

    - Maximum of six zones. $50/zone for each past six.

    - Visual inspection, turning on and lubrication of your backflow prevention device and drain.

    - Two hours of irrigation tune-up.

        - We will inspect all valve boxes, valve wiring and clean out as needed.

        - We will adjust sprinkler heads and replace any nozzles as needed, as well as fixing cut drip lines.

            - Large fixes will need to be authorized and billed prior to work being done.

    - Inspection and run through of your controller.

    - Replacement of the controller's 9v backup battery.

Irrigation System Seasonal Turn Off

This service will be performed in the fall/winter, before temperatures get below freezing. The package includes:

    - Visual inspection of backflow device and lubrication.

    - Shut down and draining of main line and all lateral zones.

    - Shut off controller. 

    - Proper frost prevention for backflow device for clients above 1,000 feet of elevation.

This package is setup for irrigation systems that are either unknown or have not been used or tuned up regularly for several years.  One of our primary hopes is to help home owners save money on water consumption. We specifically have in mind people who are moving into a new house, or folks how just want to figure out what's going on with their irrigation. This could also include real estate agents with home buyers/sellers that are needing to better understand their irrigation system prior to purchase or sale. 

This package includes:

    - Drive time

    - Up to 2.5 hours on site 

    - Total of up to 4 hours 

    - Up to 6 zones 

        - Every additional zone past 6 is billed at $50 per zone

    - Audit of irrigation system: 

        - Backflow 

            - Visual inspection of backflow 

            - Education on shut-off valves and drain, if applicable 

        - Controller inspection 

            - Programming 

            - Proper functionality 

            - State of the controller 

            - 9v battery backup replaced 

            - Providing education for controller as needed 

        - Spray zones 

            - Test all zones 

            - Testing for head placement, nozzle functionality and efficiency, damaged or leaking heads or lateral pipes 

        - Valves 

            - Visual inspection for leaks or damage 

            - Visual inspection of wiring 

        - Drip zones 

            - Visual inspection of drip zones for leaks and proper drip emission 

            - Clean out of drip valve filters, if applicable 

            - Repair of damaged drip lines  

    - Minor tune-up and materials for: 

        - Damaged nozzle replacement 

        - Damaged sprinkler head replacement 

        - Damaged drip line repairs 

        - Sprinkler head and drip line adjustments 

        - Irrigation controller programming 

        - Fixing damaged wire at the valve

    - Performance review of the irrigation system 

        - Write up of audit findings 

        - Major problems not covered in the scope of the minor tune-ups
